Summary:The present invention relates to a bookend. More particularly, the present invention relates to a bookend that ensures the stable and efficient functioning of the bookend by preventing rotation, even when external force is applied, as the anti-rotation surfaces of a horizontal plate and an auxiliary plate formed at the bottom of the bookend are closely supported against an inner wall of a bookshelf, thereby preventing books stored on the shelf from becoming disorganized or tipping over by preemptively avoiding any rotation of the bookend. 본 발명은 북엔드에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 북엔드 하단에 형성된 수평판 및 보조판의 회전방지면이 책꽂이의 내벽에 밀착되어 지지되므로 외력이 가해지더라도 북엔드의 회전이 방지되어 책꽂이에 수납된 책이 회전하여 흐트러지거나 넘어지는 경우를 미연에 방지할 수 있어서 북엔드의 기능이 안정적이고 효율적으로 이루어지게 한 북엔드에 관한 것이다.
