Summary:A display device includes a display panel and a driving circuit which receives an input image signal and provides an output image signal to the display panel. The driving circuit includes: an edge and slope detector which detects an edge of the input image signal, and calculates an angle between the edge and a virtual line parallel to a first direction; a weight calculator which calculates a weight, based on the edge and the angle; and a rendering module which compensates for the input image signal, based on the weight, and outputs the output image signal, wherein the weight is calculated through an arithmetic operation between the edge and the angle. Therefore, it is possible to prevent deterioration in the quality of displayed image depending on an arrangement method of the pixels. 표시 장치는 표시 패널 및 입력 영상 신호를 수신하고, 출력 영상 신호를 상기 표시 패널로 제공하는 구동 회로를 포함하되, 상기 구동 회로는 상기 입력 영상 신호의 에지를 검출하고, 상기 에지와 제1 방향과 평행한 가상의 선 사이의 각도를 계산하는 에지 및 기울기 검출기, 상기 에지 및 각도에 근거해서 가중치를 계산하는 가중치 계산기 및 상기 가중치에 근거해서 상기 입력 영상 신호를 보상하고, 상기 출력 영상 신호를 출력하는 렌더링부를 포함하되, 상기 가중치는 상기 에지와 상기 각도의 산술 연산에 의해 계산된다.
