Summary:Disclosed are a circuit for providing an artificial tactile neuron, and a device for predicting a disease based on the artificial tactile neuron. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a circuit for providing an artificial tactile neuron includes: a piezoresistive device which receives pressure applied from an external object and changes a magnitude of resistance based on the pressure; and a switching device which changes a magnitude of resistance based on a voltage applied from an input voltage, wherein the pressure and a mechanical property of the external object are quantified from an output voltage set based on the input voltage and the voltage applied to the switching device. 인공 촉각 뉴런을 제공하는 회로 및 인공 촉각 뉴런 기반의 질병 예측 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따른 인공 촉각 뉴런을 제공하는 회로는, 외부 객체로부터 하중되는 압력을 수용하고 상기 압력에 기초하여 저항의 크기가 변화되는, 압저항 소자; 및 입력 전압으로부터 인가된 전압의 크기에 기초하여 저항의 크기가 변화되는 스위칭 소자를 포함하고, 상기 입력 전압 및 상기 스위칭 소자에 인가된 전압에 기초하여 설정된 출력 전압으로부터 상기 압력과 상기 외부 객체의 기계적 특성을 정량화한다.
