An air conditioner according to an idea of the present invention comprises: a housing including a cylindrical part, and an arc-shaped outlet formed at the lower part of the cylindrical part; an arc-shaped heat exchanger placed inside the cylindrical part; a main fan positioned radially inside the heat exchanger; a discharge path formed between the outer end of the heat exchanger and the inner surface of the cylindrical part so that air drawn into the housing by the main fan is heat-exchanged with the heat exchanger and then discharged through the outlet; an auxiliary fan arranged around the outlet to intake air and alter the direction of the airflow discharged from the outlet; and a guide path guiding air inhaled by the auxiliary fan, wherein the guide path is formed outside the discharge path in the radial direction of the heat exchanger, and the auxiliary fan is positioned inside the discharge path. Therefore, the air conditioner can control the discharged airflow by inhaling air around the outlet without using blades. 본 발명의 사상에 따른 공기조화기는 원통부와, 원통부의 하부에 형성되고 아크(arc) 형상을 가지는 토출구를 포함하는 하우징과, 원통부의 내부에 배치되고 아크(arc) 형상을 가지는 열교환기와, 열교환기의 반경 방향으로 열교환기 내측에 배치되는 메인팬과, 메인팬에 의해 하우징 내부로 흡입된 공기가 열교환기와 열교환되어 토출구로 토출되도록 열교환기의 외주단과 원통부의 내주면 사이에 형성되는 토출유로와, 토출구 주변에서 공기를 흡입하여 토출구에서 토출되는 토출 기류의 방향을 변경시키도록 마련되는 보조팬과, 보조팬에 의해 흡입된 공기를 안내하는 안내유로를 포함하고, 안내유로는 열교환기의 반경 방향으로 토출 유로의 외측에 형성되고, 보조팬은 토출유로 내부에 배치된다.
