Summary:An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a memory for storing certificate information including a public key; a communication device that performs communication with an external device; and a processor that generates a secret key by using a plurality of random keys and encrypts a message by using the generated secret key to generate a ciphertext. The processor generates a hybrid ciphertext by using a plurality of random keys, an ID-based public key corresponding to the certificate information, and a public key included in the certificate information and controls the communication device to transmit the encrypted message and the generated hybrid ciphertext to an external device. 전자 장치가 개시된다. 본 전자 장치는 공개키를 포함하는 인증서 정보를 저장하는 메모리, 외부 장치와 통신을 수행하는 통신 장치, 및 복수의 랜덤키를 이용하여 비밀키를 생성하고, 생성된 비밀키를 이용하여 메시지를 암호화하여 암호문을 생성하는 프로세서를 포함하고, 프로세서는 복수의 랜덤키, 인증서 정보에 대응되는 ID 기반 공개키 및 인증서 정보에 포함된 공개키를 이용하여 하이브리드 암호문을 생성하고, 암호화된 메시지와 생성된 하이브리드 암호문이 외부 장치에 전송하도록 통신 장치를 제어한다.
