The disclosure relates to an apparatus for processing adaptive multi-view video streaming and a method thereof. Specifically, the disclosure relates to an apparatus for processing an adaptive media and a method thereof, capable of maximizing satisfaction about quality of watching experience of a user in a multi-view video streaming system of a dynamic network environment. The method for processing adaptive multi-view video streaming includes: an experience quality-based bitrate control step of determining a bitrate of a next segment to be received from a server based on the quality of experience; and a step of storing the segment received based on the determined bitrate in a buffer and displaying the segment. The bitrate of the next segment is determined differently depending on whether there is a change in a view. 본 개시는 적응적 멀티뷰(Multiview) 비디오 스트리밍 처리 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 개시는 동적 네트워크 환경의 멀티뷰 비디오 스트리밍 시스템에서 사용자의 체감 시청 품질 만족도를 최대화하는 적응적 미디어 처리 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 개시에 의한 적응적 멀티뷰 비디오 스트리밍 처리 방법은, 체감 품질에 기반하여 서버로부터 수신할 다음 세그먼트의 비트레이트를 결정하는 체감 품질 기반 비트레이트 제어 단계, 및 상기 결정된 비트레이트에 기반하여 수신된 세그먼트를 버퍼에 저장하고 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 다음 세그먼트의 비트레이트는 뷰(view) 전환 여부에 따라 다르게 결정된다.
