Summary: | According to an embodiment of the present invention, an imaging optical system comprises: a first lens having a positive refractive power, and having an object-side surface and an upper surface, which are convex; a second lens having a negative refractive power; a third lens having a negative refractive power; a fourth lens having a refractive power, and having an object-side surface which is convex and an upper surface which is concave; a fifth lens having a negative refractive power; and a sixth lens having a positive refractive power, and having an upper surface which is convex. The first to sixth lenses are successively arranged along an optical axis from the object side toward the upper side. The fourth lens has one or more inflection points on the object-side surface. When the distance on the optical axis between the second lens and the third lens is called D23 and the distance on the optical axis between the third lens and the fourth lens is called D34, 2.2 < D23/D34 < 5.4 can be satisfied. Therefore, it is easy to correct the aberration.
