Summary:The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an electricity generating assembly which includes a membrane-electrode assembly and a pair of gas diffusion layers disposed on both surfaces of the membrane-electrode assembly. The present invention provides a method of manufacturing an electricity generating assembly, which is configured to secure and increase adhesion between gas diffusion layers and a membrane-electrode assembly. The method comprise the steps of: applying a coupling agent on surfaces of gas diffusion layers to modify the surfaces of the gas diffusion layers; applying a coupling agent-friendly adhesive to the surfaces of the gas diffusion layers to which the coupling agent is applied to form forming adhesion layers on the surfaces of the gas diffusion layers; and stacking the gas diffusion layers on a surface of a membrane electrode assembly to cause the adhesion layers to come into contact with the surface of the membrane electrode assembly. 본 발명은 막-전극 접합체와 상기 막-전극 접합체의 양 표면에 배치되는 한 쌍의 가스확산층을 포함하는 발전 어셈블리의 제조 방법으로서: 상기 가스확산층의 표면에 커플링제를 도포함으로써 상기 가스확산층의 표면을 개질하는 단계; 상기 커플링제가 도포된 상기 가스확산층의 표면에 커플링제 친화성 접착제를 도포함으로써 상기 가스확산층의 표면에 접착층을 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 막-전극 접합체의 표면에 상기 가스확산층을 적층하여 상기 접착층이 상기 막-전극 접합체의 표면에 접촉하도록 하는 단계;를 포함하는 발전 어셈블리의 제조 방법을 제공한다.
