Summary:The present invention relates to a communication technique for fusing a fifth-generation communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than that of the fourth-generation communication system with the Internet-of-things (IoT) technology, and a system thereof. The present invention can be applied to intelligent services based on the fifth-generation communication technology and the IoT-related technologies (for instance, smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail, and security and safety-related services). The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting a reverse-directional control channel or a channel using a synchronization signal. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of receiving a synchronization signal and a broadcast channel from a base station; a step of acquiring a reference signal received power (RSRP) based on the synchronization signal; and a step of transmitting a measurement report including the RSRP to the base station. Therefore, a system which can sufficiently support reverse-directional coverage can be configured. 본 개시는 4G 시스템 이후 보다 높은 데이터 전송률을 지원하기 위한 5G 통신 시스템을 IoT 기술과 융합하는 통신 기법 및 그 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 개시는 5G 통신 기술 및 IoT 관련 기술을 기반으로 지능형 서비스 (예를 들어, 스마트 홈, 스마트 빌딩, 스마트 시티, 스마트 카 혹은 커넥티드 카, 헬스 케어, 디지털 교육, 소매업, 보안 및 안전 관련 서비스 등)에 적용될 수 있다. 본 발명은 무선통신 시스템에 대한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 역방향의 제어 채널의 전송 또는 동기 신호(synchronization signal)를 활용한 채널의 전송 방법 및 장치를 개시한다.
