Summary: | The present invention relates to a communication technique for fusing a fifth-generation communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than that of the fourth-generation communication system with the Internet-of-things (IoT) technology, and a system thereof. The present invention can be applied to intelligent services based on the fifth-generation communication technology and the IoT-related technologies (for instance, smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail, and security and safety-related services). The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting a reverse-directional control channel or a channel using a synchronization signal. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of receiving a synchronization signal and a broadcast channel from a base station; a step of acquiring a reference signal received power (RSRP) based on the synchronization signal; and a step of transmitting a measurement report including the RSRP to the base station. Therefore, a system which can sufficiently support reverse-directional coverage can be configured.
