The present invention relates to a superabsorbent polymer and a method for producing the same and, more specifically, to a superabsorbent polymer containing two or more types of hydrophobic materials and having improved tactile feel after swelling without deterioration in absorbent performance, and a method for producing the same. The superabsorbent polymer comprises: superabsorbent polymer resin particles having a base resin including a first cross-linked polymer of a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer having at least partially neutralized acidic group, and a surface cross-linked layer including a second cross-linked polymer in which the first cross-linked polymer is additionally cross-linked through a surface cross linking agent; and two or more types of hydrophobic substances containing a linear or branched hydrocarbon group having 11 or more carbon atoms. 본 발명은 고흡수성 수지 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로, 두 종류 이상의 소수성 물질을 포함하여 흡수 성능의 저하 없이 팽윤 후 향상된 촉감을 갖는 고흡수성 수지 및 이의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
