The present invention relates to a method for controlling turn signal lamp illumination intensity of a vehicle, and an apparatus. The method, that the apparatus for controlling the turn signal lamp illuminance intensity of the vehicle controls the illuminance intensity of a turn signal lamp, comprises the following steps of: (a) sensing an operation of left side or right side turn signal lamp while an emergency lamp is operating; and (b) controlling the turn signal lamp illuminance intensity of the sensed side to be different from the turn signal lamp illuminance intensity of the other side.
