Summary:Conventional facial shape research has centered on image recognition technology that can quickly and accurately capture facial details, and recently, various studies have been attempted on facial growth, but the focus has been on craniofacial deformities. Facial form development modeling technology that takes into account facial growth patterns and genetic characteristics during childhood is absent. The present invention relates to development of classification technology for a facial growth pattern during childhood and discovery of related genetic information. When using the facial shape development prediction technology of the present invention, the face after growing into an adult from the face of an infant can be more accurately predicted, so the technology is expected to greatly be used in the fields of forensic science and anthropology. 종래의 얼굴 형태 연구는 얼굴의 세부 사항을 빠르고 정확하게 포착할 수 있는 이미지 인식 기술이 중심이 되었고, 최근 안면 성장에 대한 다양한 연구가 시도되고 있으나 두개안면 기형에 초점이 맞추어진 것으로서, 유소년기의 얼굴 성장 패턴, 및 유전적 특징을 고려한 얼굴 형태 발달 모델링 기술은 부재한 실정이다. 본 발명은 유소년기 얼굴성장 패턴 분류 기술 개발 및 연관 유전자 정보 발굴에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 얼굴 형태 발달 예측 기술을 이용하면 유아기 얼굴로부터 성인으로 성장된 후의 얼굴을 보다 정확하게 예측할 수 있으므로, 법의학 및 인류학 분야에서 크게 이용될 것으로 기대된다.
