Specifically, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus that, when a bed fall occurs, determines a fall risk condition before a fall collision occurs and deploys a mat airbag horizontally under the bed. 본 발명은 침대 위, 특히 병원 등 의료시설에서 빈번히 발생하는 침상 낙상으로부터 환자를 보호하기 위한 침상낙하 예측 방법과 침상낙하 보호 장치에 대한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 발명은 침상 낙상이 발생했을 때, 낙하충돌이 발생하기 전에 낙상위험상태를 미리 판별하여 침대 아래에 수평으로 매트 에어백을 펼치는 방법과 장치에 대한 것이다.
