The present invention relates to a simulating apparatus related to pantograph charging, and an operation method thereof. The disclosed simulating apparatus relates to the panograph charging comprises: a communication unit which receives a power control command required to build an electric vehicle charging system from a user terminal; a power distribution test bench unit which generates a simulation signal simulating a component module necessary for building the electric vehicle charging system in response to the power control command; and a processor which generates virtual charging system construction information which virtually builds the electric vehicle charging system based on the power control command and the simulation signal of each component module provided by the power distribution test bench unit, and controls to provide the virtual charging system construction information to the user terminal.
