실시예들은 무선 네트워크에서 홈 네트워크(HN) 보안 키(들)의 동기화를 처리하기 위한 방법을 제공한다. 제안된 방법은 네트워크 개체(200A)로부터 NAS(Non-Access Stratum) 인증 요청 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 포함하며, 여기서 단말(100A)은 제1 HN 보안 키를 보유한다. 또한, 이 방법은 수신된 NAS 인증 요청 메시지에 대한 인증 응답 메시지를 결정하고, NAS 인증 요청 메시지에서 수신된 복수의 입력 파라미터들로부터 제2 HN 보안 키를 생성하고, 인증 응답 메시지를 네트워크 개체(200A)로 전송하는 단계를 포함한다. 또한, 이 방법은 네트워크 개체(200A)로부터 NAS 보안 모드 명령 메시지를 수신하면 제2 HN 보안 키를 저장하거나 네트워크 개체(200A)로부터 NAS 거부 메시지를 수신하면 제2 HN 보안 키를 무시하는 단계를 포함한다. Embodiments herein provide a method for handling synchronization of Home Network (HN) security key(s) in a wireless network. The proposed method includes receiving a Non-access stratum (NAS) authentication request message from a network entity (200A), where the UE (100A) holds a first Home network (HN) security key. Further, the method includes determining an authentication response message for the received NAS authentication request message and generating a second HN security key from a plurality of input parameters received in the NAS authentication request message and sending authentication response message to the network entity (200A). Further, the method includes storing the second HN security key in response to receiving a NAS security mode command message from the network entity (200A) or ignore the second HN security key in response to receiving a NAS reject message from the network entity (200A).
