The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing a weft from being twisted in weft insertion, which comprises: a bobbin (10) installed on the same line as a loom and supplied with wound weft (20); a plurality of guide rollers (21, 22, and 23) that guide the weft (20) of the bobbin (10) to be supplied to the loom; a pair of rotating rollers (24) installed between the guide rollers (21, 22, and 23) to ensure that the supplied weft (20) has constant tension; and a tension control unit (30) installed at the lower part between the pair of the rotating rollers (24) to adjust the tension of the supplied weft (20), wherein the direction in which the weft (20) wound on the bobbin (10) is unwound lies in a straight line with the supply direction of the weft (20), thereby preventing the weft (20) from being twisted in weft insertion. 본 발명은 위사 위입 꼬임방지장치에 있어서, 직기와 동일선상으로 설치되어 감겨진 위사(20)가 공급되는 보빈(10)과, 상기 보빈(10)의 위사(20)가 직기로 공급될 수 있도록 안내하는 다수의 가이드롤러(21)(22)(23)와, 가이드롤러(21)(22)(23) 사이에 설치되어 공급되는 위사(20)가 일정한 장력을 갖도록 하는 한쌍의 회전롤러(24)와, 한쌍의 회전롤러(24) 사이의 하부에 설치되어 공급되는 위사(20)의 장력을 조절하는 장력조절부(30)로 구성되어 보빈(10)에 감겨진 위사(20)가 풀리는 방향이 위사(20)의 공급방향과 직선상에 놓이도록 함으로써 위사(20) 위입시 꼬임을 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
