Provided is a substrate support which can adjust the temperature of a substrate appropriately by a heat transfer medium flowing through a flow path formed in a base. The substrate support for supporting a substrate according to the present invention comprises: a conductive base unit having a flow path formed therein, through which a fluid for controlling the temperature of the substrate flows; an electrostatic adsorption unit disposed on the upper surface of the base unit and having a support surface for the substrate on the upper surface; and a metal joint unit joining the base unit and the electrostatic adsorption unit to each other, wherein the base unit has a body member forming at least a part of the side surface of the flow path and the bottom of the flow path and a heat conductive member forming the ceiling surface of the flow path and performing heat transfer between the fluid for controlling the temperature and the electrostatic adsorption unit.
