Summary:The present invention relates to a device and a method for recognizing cargo information for parcel cargo handling automation. According to the present invention, even when a parcel cargo is moved at high speed without stop or low-speed movement, the volume of the parcel cargo can be measured, and also, a barcode can be recognized, such that the efficiency is improved during handling automation of the parcel cargo in a logistics center. Also, damage to a parcel cargo can be recognized during warehousing and shipment to/from a logistics center, such that costs for a dispute between a cargo delivery and storage service provider and a user can be reduced. In addition, the device of the present invention can be installed even in a narrow space, thereby being widely applied to even small and medium-sized cargo terminals where a space for installing equipment for obtaining cargo information is not sufficient. 본 발명은 택배화물 취급 자동화를 위한 화물정보 인식 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 택배화물의 정지 또는 저속 이동 없이 고속으로 이동하더라도 택배화물의 체적 측정은 물론 바코드 인식이 가능해 물류센터 내 택배화물의 취급 자동화시 효율이 향상됨은 물론 택배화물의 파손 여부를 물류센터 입출고시 파악할 수 있으므로 화물 배송 및 보관 서비스 제공자와 사용자 사이의 분쟁비용을 저감할 수 있으며 협소한 공간에도 설치 가능해 화물정보 획득을 위한 장비의 설치를 위한 공간이 충분하지 않은 중소화물 터미널 등에도 폭넓게 적용할 수 있는 택배화물 취급 자동화를 위한 화물정보 인식 장치 및 방법을 제공한다.
