Summary:The present disclosure relates to 5G (5^(th) generation) or pre-5G communication systems to support higher data rates after 4G (4^(th) generation) communication systems such as LTE (Long Term Evolution). According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, a terminal device in a wireless communication system, which can effectively perform wireless communication due to rapid synchronization recovery, comprises: at least one transceiver; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the at least one transceiver, wherein the at least one processor may obtain a first synchronization of a first carrier, which is in-synchronization (in-sync), determine a second synchronization of a second carrier, which is out-of-synchronization (out-of-sync) based on the first synchronization, and perform communication based on the second synchronization. 본 개시(disclosure)는 LTE(Long Term Evolution)와 같은 4G(4th generation) 통신 시스템 이후 보다 높은 데이터 전송률을 지원하기 위한 5G(5th generation) 또는 pre-5G 통신 시스템에 관련된 것이다. 본 개시의 다양한 실시 예들에 따르면, 무선 통신 시스템에서 단말의 장치는 적어도 하나의 송수신기와, 상기 적어도 하나의 송수신기와 동작적으로 결합되는 적어도 하나의 프로세서를 포함하고, 상기 적어도 하나의 프로세서는, 동기화 성공(in-synchronization, in-sync)인 제1 캐리어의 제1 동기를 획득하고, 상기 제1 동기에 기반하여 동기화 실패(out-of-synchronization, out-of-sync)인 제2 캐리어의 제2 동기를 결정하고, 상기 제2 동기에 기반하여 통신을 수행할 수 있다.
