Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for improving the durability of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell by uniformly introducing an antioxidant to a polymer electrolyte membrane, an electrode, or a membrane-electrode assembly (MEA). The polymer electrolyte membrane includes: ion-conductive polymers; a first additive selected from polyamic acids or salt thereof, diamine compounds and acid dianhydrides, and a mixture thereof; and a second additive selected from metals, metal ions or salt thereof, metal oxide, metal alloys, and graphene oxide.
