The present invention relates to a gas tank having an external shock prevention function. The gas tank includes: a container main body having a cylinder part and a dome part formed at both ends of the cylinder part, wherein the dome part is formed with a boss part or a knob part; and an external impact protection member coupled to the outer peripheral surface of at least one of the boss part and the knob part, thereby capable of preventing risk of gas leakage. 본 발명은 외부 충격 방지 기능을 갖는 가스탱크에 관한 것이다. 상기 가스탱크는, 실린더부 및 상기 실린더부의 양단에 형성된 돔부를 갖는 용기 본체로서, 상기 돔부에는 보스(boss)부 또는 놉(knob)부가 형성된 용기 본체; 및 상기 보스부 및 상기 놉부 중 적어도 하나 이상의 외주면에 결합되는 외부 충격 보호부재를 포함한다.
