In more detail, the present invention relates to a smart control-based ATC tool information monitoring and correction device and a correction method using the same, capable of predicting a service life of the tool by monitoring the condition of the tool stored in ATC in advance at a stage before tool installation, correcting work errors that may occur depending on the degree of damage or wear of the tool, and improving work precision by transmitting the corrected work error to a processing machine. The smart control-based ATC tool information monitoring and correction device includes a displacement sensor, a database, a correction part, and a control part. 본 발명은 공구의 정보를 모니터링하고, 모니터링된 공구의 정보에 따라 작업 오차를 최소화하기 위한 공구 정보 모니터링 및 보정에 관한 기술로, 더욱 상세하게는 ATC에 보관되는 공구의 상태를 공구장착 전 단계인 사전에 미리 모니터링하여 공구의 수명을 예측하고, 공구의 손상이나 마모 정도에 따라 발생될 수 있는 작업 오차를 보정하고 이를 가공머신에 전달하여 작업 정밀도를 향상시킨 스마트 제어 기반 ATC 공구 정보 모니터링 및 보정 장치 및 이를 이용한 보정 방법에 관한 것이다.
