Summary:In accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device includes a plurality of antennas, and a processor. The processor performs a diversity operation on a signal received using the plurality of antennas, determines whether the state of the electronic device is a folded state, measures the quality of the signal generated through the diversity operation based on the determination; checks whether the measured quality of the signal is higher than a threshold value, and receives the signal using only some of the plurality of antennas if the measured quality of the signal is not higher than the threshold value, wherein the threshold value can be a value determined based on the quality of the signal received through some of the plurality of antennas. Therefore, the present invention is capable of reducing the amount of currents to be consumed by suspending the operation of an antenna affecting communication performance less. 본 개시의 다양한 실시예에 따른 전자 장치는 복수의 안테나, 및 프로세서를 포함하고, 상기 프로세서는, 복수의 안테나를 이용해 수신한 신호에 다이버시티 동작을 수행하고, 전자 장치의 상태가 접힘 상태인지를 판단하고, 상기 판단에 기반하여 상기 다이버시티 동작을 수행해 생성한 신호의 품질을 측정하고, 상기 측정된 신호의 품질이 임계값보다 높은지 확인하고, 및 상기 측정된 신호의 품질이 임계값보다 높지 않은 것으로 확인되면, 상기 복수의 안테나 중 일부만을 이용하여 신호를 수신하고, 상기 임계값은 상기 복수의 안테나 중 일부의 안테나로 수신된 신호의 품질에 기초해 정해진 값일 수 있다.
