Summary:The present invention relates to an air conditioning system for polar ships operating in polar waters, which comprises: an engine room provided in a hull and equipped with a generator engine therein; an outdoor air intake chamber for sucking in low-temperature outdoor air through an outdoor air intake port at the top of the engine room; an intake filter unit for removing foreign substances contained in the air inside the outside air intake chamber; and an outdoor air heating chamber provided separately from the outdoor air intake chamber to heat the outdoor air flowing into the interior. The intake filter unit is provided as a trunk type installed on a deck inside the outdoor air intake chamber. 본 발명은 극지 해역을 운항하는 극지용 선박의 공조 시스템에 관한 것으로, 선체에 마련되며 내부에 발전기 엔진이 구비되는 엔진 룸; 상기 엔진 룸의 상부에서 외기 흡입구를 통해 저온의 외기를 흡입하기 위한 외기 흡입 챔버; 상기 외기 흡입 챔버의 내부 공기에 포함된 이물질을 제거하기 위한 흡입 필터부; 및 상기 외기 흡입 챔버와 별도로 마련되어 내부로 유입되는 외기를 가열하는 외기 히팅 챔버를 포함하고, 상기 흡입 필터부는 상기 외기 흡입 챔버 내부의 데크 상에 설치되는 트렁크 타입(Trunk type)으로 마련된다.
