Summary:According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for controlling battery power consumption is provided which is a method for controlling battery power consumption by a ball marker, and comprises: a step (a) of checking whether an area is on the green within a hole based on current location information obtained through a built-in positioning sensor; a step (b) of checking the number of remaining holes in current round using information obtained from a server based on the current location information; a step (c) of checking the amount of power which can be consumed in a current hole based on remaining capacity of a built-in battery and the number of remaining holes; and a step (d) of switching some of a plurality of functions to an off or sleep mode based on the amount of power which can be consumed in the current hall.
