Summary: | According to embodiments of the present invention, provided is a negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery including a silicon-based oxide having a carbon coating layer on the surface and doped with magnesium, wherein a peak area ratio of 1303 eV to the sum of the 1304.5 eV peak area and 1303 eV peak area appearing in the Mg1s spectrum is 60% or less when measured by X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS).
본 발명의 실시예들에 따르면 표면에 탄소 코팅층을 포함하고 마그네슘이 도핑된 실리콘계 산화물을 포함하며, X선 광전자 분광법(X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, XPS) 측정 시 Mg1s 스펙트럼에서 나타나는 1304.5eV의 피크(peak) 면적 및 1303eV의 피크 면적의 총합에 대하여 1303eV의 피크 면적비가 60% 이하인, 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질이 제공된다. |
