Summary:The present invention relates to a wind power propulsion system and a ship having the same. The wind power propulsion system of the present invention comprises: a stator arranged perpendicular to a deck; a rotor provided in a cylindrical shape to surround the outside of the stator; a driving part transmitting rotational power to the rotor through a disk connected to the rotor; and a lower bearing part installed below the rotor to suppress lateral movement of the rotor, wherein the lower bearing part is composed of an assembly of bearing units and may be installed on the stator, thereby capable of improving structural performance of the rotor and facilitating manufacturing thereof. 본 발명은 풍력추진 시스템 및 이를 구비한 선박에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 풍력추진 시스템은, 갑판에 수직하게 마련되는 고정자; 상기 고정자의 외측을 두르도록 원기둥 형태로 마련되는 회전자; 상기 회전자에 연결되는 디스크를 통해 상기 회전자에 회전 동력을 전달하는 구동부; 및 상기 회전자의 하부에 설치되어 상기 회전자의 횡방향 운동을 억제하는 하부베어링부를 포함하고, 상기 하부베어링부는, 베어링유닛의 집합체로 구성되며, 상기 고정자에 설치될 수 있다.
