The present invention relates to a sealing structure and a substrate holding apparatus including the same. The sealing structure according to one embodiment may comprise: a lid including the first lid face, the second lid surface opposite to the first lid surface, and a brittle region between the first lid surface and the second lid surface; a cover which includes the first cover surface facing the second lid surface and covering a brittle region, and the second cover surface opposite to the first cover surface, and wherein a distance between the second lid surface and the first cover surface is substantially equal to or smaller than a distance between the first cover surface and the second cover surface; and a connection unit configured to connect the lid and the cover.
