Summary: | The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker capable of determining the content of fatty acids in pigs, and specifically, to a SNP marker composition for determining the content of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) in pigs, in which the 1,001st base of a polynucleotide consisting of a nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 is T or C, and which comprises a polynucleotide consisting of 5 to 1,000 consecutive bases including the 1,001st base or a nucleotide complementary thereto.
