극 부호를 이용하는 복호화를 위한 복호 위치 제어 정보 생성 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 극 부호를 이용하는 복호화를 위한 복호 위치 제어 정보 생성 방법 및 장치는, 극 부호화(Polar encoding)된 부호어에 대해 복수 개의 노드(Node)를 계층 구조로 형성한 복호 트리(Tree)를 생성하는 단계, 연속 제거(SC, Successive Cancellation) 복호 기법을 이용하여 상기 부호어를 복호하는 단계 및 상기 복호된 부호어 중에서 재복호 시 회귀되는 비트의 위치를 기반으로 기 설정된 연산 관계를 통하여 제어 정보를 생성하는 단계를 포함한다.
