Summary: | Provided are a method and system which include an N-butyl cyanoacrylate (n-BCA) liquid embolic agent, and achieve, by the n-BCA liquid embolic agent, a reduction in the total cost of preoperative embolization procedures for a plurality of patients relative to an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) liquid embolic agent. Described are a method and system for reducing supply costs of preoperative embolization by at least approximately 18 %.
