Summary: | The present invention relates to an apparatus which prevents a water hammer, an impact which occurs when a kinetic energy of a fluid is converted into a pressure energy due to rapid decrease in a fluid velocity when a valve at an end of a pipe is closed, when the fluid is flowing at the pipe interior. The apparatus, as a water hammer arrester which includes a permanent magnet and a shield and is directly coupled to a pipe, causes a repulsive force of the permanent magnet to be generated in both directions and weakened in one direction using the shield to generate a stronger repulsive force. According to the present invention, the repulsive force no longer affects the exterior of the water hammer arrestor. Therefore, interference due to the repulsive force between other apparatuses or products does not occur. Also, elasticity of an absorbing impact is not weakened. The water hammer arrestor of the present invention comprises: a cylindrical body (100); a first fixation unit (110); a first movement unit (120); and a second fixation unit (140).
본 발명은 유체가 관로 내부에 흐르고 있을 때, 관 끝의 밸브를 닫으면 유체속도의 급격한 저하에 의해 유체의 운동에너지가 압력에너지로 바뀌면서 발생하는 충격인 수격(Water hammer)을 방지하는 장치에 관한 것이다. 상기 장치는 영구자석 및 차폐체를 포함하고, 배관에 직접 결합되는 수격 방지기로서, 상기 영구자석의 척력이 양방향으로 발생하여 척력이 약화되는 것을 상기 차폐체를 이용하여 일방향으로 발생시켜 척력을 보다 강하게 발생시킬뿐더러, 척력이 수격 방지기의 외부에 영향을 주지 않게되므로 타 장치 또는 제품끼리 척력에 의한 간섭이 발생하지 않고, 충격을 흡수하는 탄성이 약화되지 않는 것을 특징으로 한다. |
