The present invention relates to a ladder which is able to allow a user to freely select a used length, use a foothold by maintaining the horizontality even if a used angle is changed, and fold the foothold to be conveniently stored or transported. According to the present invention, a foothold is coupled to a part between square side surface frames at a regular interval, and both sides on a front side of the foothold are rotatably coupled to the side surface frames. A frame coupling unit is inserted into an upper side and a lower side of a side surface frame, so that the other side surface can be coupled. The frame coupling unit is coupled to a connection foothold whose side surface has a handrail coupling unit fixed. On the rear center of the foothold, a coupling unit is formed so that a fixing unit formed on a wire can be inserted. A fixing ring of the wire is inserted into the coupling units of the connection foothold located on an upper side and a lower side of the side surface frames. The handrail coupling unit is coupled to a handrail, and a supporter is inserted into and fixed on the handrail coupling unit. 본 발명은 사용 길이를 자유롭게 선택할 수 있음은 물론 사용 각도를 변경시키더라도 발판은 수평을 유지하며 사용할 수 있도록 하는 한편 발판을 접어서 간편하게 보관이나 운반이 이루어지는 사다리에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 사각의 측면 프레임 사이로 일정 간격을 두고 발판을 결합시키되 상기 발판의 전방 좌우측이 측면 프레임에서 회동되게 결합하고, 상기 측면 프레임의 상하측에는 프레임 결합구를 끼워서 다른 측면 프레임이 결합되게 하되 프레임 결합구에는 연결발판이 결합되는 한편 연결발판의 측면으로 난간대 결합구가 고정되고, 상기 발판의 후방 중앙에는 결합구를 형성하여 와이어에 형성된 고정구가 끼워지게 하고, 상기 측면 프레임의 상,하측에 위치한 연결발판의 결합구에는 와이어의 고정고리를 고리로 끼워주고, 상기 난간대 결합구에는 난간대를 결합시키는 한편 지지대를 끼워 고정시킴으로써 이루어진다.
