Summary:The present invention relates to a recombinant vector containing a gene encoding heavy-chain C-terminal proteins of botulinum type C/D derived from botulinum type C/D strains, a vaccine composition for preventing botulism type C/D addiction of livestock, containing proteins derived from heavy-chain C-terminal of botulinum C/D type, and a composition for diagnosing botulism C/D type addiction of livestock, containing recombinant proteins derived from heavy-chain C-terminal of botulinum C/D type. The present invention uses transgenic E.coli, which produces recombinant proteins derived from heavy-chain C-terminals of botulinum toxin type C/D in large quantity, to make use of heavy-chain C-terminal proteins of botulinum toxin type C/D generated by the strains as an antibody for vaccine and diagnosis, thereby effectively preventing and diagnosing botulism type C/D generated in livestock, expecting that livestock mortality rates will be greatly reduced.
