Disclosed are a device for adjusting a room mirror of a vehicle, and a method for controlling the same. According to the present invention, the device for adjusting a room mirror of a vehicle comprises: an adjustment switch for automatically adjusting a room mirror; an image capturing unit capturing an image reflected in the room mirror; a room mirror driving unit adjusting an angle of the room mirror; and a control unit operating the room mirror driving unit to identify eyeballs of a driver from the image of the room mirror inputted from the image capturing unit when the adjustment switch is operated to enable the eyeballs to be positioned at set positions of the room mirror. 본 발명은 차량의 룸미러 조정장치 및 그 제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 차량의 룸미러 조정장치는, 룸미러의 자동조정을 위한 조정스위치; 룸미러에 비치는 영상을 촬영하는 영상촬영부; 룸미러의 각도를 조정하는 룸미러 구동부; 및 조정스위치가 작동되면 영상촬영부로부터 입력되는 룸미러 영상으로부터 운전자의 안구를 인식하여 룸미러의 설정위치에 안구가 위치하도록 룸미러 구동부를 작동시키는 제어부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
