According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, an operating method of a server for preventing forgery or falsification of vehicle information comprises the steps of: obtaining image information regarding a vehicle; determining identity information of the vehicle based on the image information; determining status information of the vehicle based on a pre-stored database and the identity information; determining driver information of the vehicle based on the image information, in response to the operation of determining the status information; determining identity information of the vehicle corresponding to the driver information based on the pre-stored database; and determining whether the identity information of the vehicle corresponding to the driver information of the vehicle matches the identity information of the vehicle.
