A display device comprises: a display panel; an input detection layer; a display controller that controls driving of the display panel and outputs a synchronization signal comprising the information for a driving frequency of the display panel; and a detection controller that receives a synchronization signal and determines the driving frequency of the input detection layer based on the synchronization signal, wherein a driving frame of the display panel includes a first section and a second section in which the display controller transmits a data signal for displaying an image to the display panel, and the synchronization signal includes a first pulse activated in synchronization with the first section and a second pulse activated in synchronization with the second section.
