According to the present invention, a coolant control valve comprises: a valve housing having a plurality of branch flow paths; a ball valve rotating within the valve housing to selectively open and close the branch flow paths; a port rim connected to outer ends of the branch flow paths; a retainer having the shape of a hollow tube, mounted between the ball valve and the port rim, of the inner surfaces of the branch flow paths, and having a seating groove formed on the outer surface thereof and having a ring-shaped cross section; a valve seat mounted on one longitudinal side of the retainer to seal the space between the retainer and the ball valve; a sealing agent seated on the seating groove to seal the space between the retainer and the branch flow paths; and a spring mounted between the other longitudinal side of the retainer and the port rim to pressurize the retainer toward the ball valve. An end of the port rim facing the retainer has an extension portion extending inside the seating groove and having an end facing the side of the sealing agent. Therefore, the seal between the ball valve and the valve seat can be maintained stably. 본 발명에 의한 냉각수 조절밸브는, 복수 개의 분기유로를 구비하는 밸브하우징; 상기 밸브하우징 내에서 회전하여 상기 분기유로를 선택적으로 개폐하는 볼밸브; 상기 분기유로의 외측단에 연결되는 포트림; 중공관 형상으로 형성되어 상기 분기유로의 내측면 중 상기 볼밸브와 상기 포트림 사이에 장착되며, 횡단면이 링 형상을 갖는 안착홈이 외측면에 형성되는 리테이너; 상기 리테이너의 길이방향 일측에 장착되어 상기 리테이너와 상기 볼밸브 사이를 밀폐시키는 밸브시트; 상기 안착홈에 안착되어 상기 리테이너와 분기유로 사이를 밀폐시키는 씰링제; 상기 리테이너의 길이방향 타측과 상기 포트림 사이에 장착되어 상기 리테이너를 볼밸브 측으로 가압하는 스프링;을 포함하되, 상기 포트림 중 상기 리테이너를 향하는 측의 끝단에는, 상기 안착홈의 내부로 연장되어 끝단이 상기 씰링제의 측면을 향하는 연장부가 구비된다.
