Disclosed is a remote control device. The remote control device includes a user interface, a memory, a communication interface, and a processor connected with the user interface, the memory and the communication interface to control the remote control device. The processor, when a user command is inputted through the user interface, can identify a binary code corresponding to the user command among a plurality of binary codes stored in the memory, can identify the binary code as a plurality of bit groups based on a preset bit number unit, and can control the communication interface so as to transmit a pulse signal corresponding to the plurality of bit groups.
