A device and a method for predicting the progress of lymphedema using skin tension are provided. The device for predicting the progress of lymphedema comprises: a display unit; a memory which has an artificial intelligence model for predicting the progress of lymphedema of a subject to be diagnosed; a measuring unit which generates vibration on the surface of the skin through contact and movement on the skin of the subject to be diagnosed, and measures the speed of waves generated by the generated vibration; and a control unit which calculates skin tension based on the value corresponding to the speed of the waves, and applies the calculated skin tension to the artificial intelligence model to predict the progress of lymphedema in the subject to be diagnosed, which has been determined to have lymphedema. The present invention enables quantification of the method for diagnosing lymphedema. 피부 장력을 이용한 림프부종 진행 상태 예측 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 상기 장치는, 디스플레이부, 피진단자의 림프부종의 진행 상태를 예측하기 위한 인공지능 모델을 구비한 메모리, 상기 피진단자의 피부 접촉 및 이동을 통해 상기 피부의 표면에 진동을 발생시키고, 상기 발생된 진동에 의해 생성되는 파동의 속도를 측정하는 측정부 및 상기 파동의 속도에 상응하는 값으로 피부 장력을 산출하고, 상기 인공지능 모델에 상기 산출된 피부 장력을 적용하여 림프부종이 있는 것으로 판단된 피진단자의 림프부종 진행 상태를 예측하는 제어부를 포함한다.
