The disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for predicting application service response time in a communication system. Specifically, it relates to a method, an apparatus, and a system for predicting the response time required for a communication system server to respond to an application service requested by a user and provide the application service to the user. The method for predicting application service response time according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a data collection step of collecting network data related to the application service in response to a user application service request by a user device; a data analysis step of performing response time prediction analysis to predict the user's application service response time using the collected data, wherein the data analysis step initially applies a response time prediction model, tests the applied initial prediction model, and selects the optimal prediction model. Accordingly, the present invention has the effect of preventing service interruption due to infrastructure failure. 본 개시는 통신 시스템에서 응용 서비스 응답 시간 예측 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로 사용자가 요구한 응용서비스에 대하여 통신 시스템의 서버에서 응답하여 사용자에게 응용 서비스를 제공하는데 소요되는 응답 시간을 예측하는 방법, 장치 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 개시의 일실시예에 의한, 응용 서비스 응답 시간 예측 방법은, 사용자 디바이스에 의한 사용자 응용 서비스 요구에 대응하여, 상기 응용 서비스와 관련된 네트워크 데이터를 수집하는 데이터 수집 단계와, 상기 수집된 데이터를 활용하여, 사용자의 응용 서비스 응답 시간을 예측하기 위해, 응답 시간 예측 분석을 수행하는 데이터 분석 단계를 포함하되, 상기 데이터 분석 단계는, 응답 시간 예측 모형을 초기 적용하고, 상기 적용된 초기 예측 모형을 검정하여 최적의 예측 모형을 선택하는 과정을 수행한다.
