The present invention relates to a method for user age estimation and an application control method using the same. The method for user age estimation comprises the steps of: generating an age estimation model using session data by age group; receiving application usage information of a user terminal; extracting first event pairs and first time interval information related to the first event pairs from the received application usage information; and estimating an age of the user using the user terminal based on the extracted first event pairs and first time interval information by using the age estimation model. Therefore, it is possible to guess the age of an actual user of the application based on the time interval between events, and determine whether there is an abnormal transaction in a non-face-to-face transaction environment. 본 발명은 사용자 연령 추정 방법 및 이를 이용한 어플리케이션 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 사용자 연령 추정 방법은, 상기 연령대별 세션데이터를 이용하여 연령 추정 모델을 생성하는 단계, 상기 사용자 단말의 어플리케이션 사용정보를 수신하는 단계, 상기 수신된 어플리케이션 사용정보에서, 제1 이벤트 페어 및 상기 제1 이벤트 페어에 대한 제1 시간 간격정보를 추출하는 단계, 및 추출된 상기 제1 이벤트 페어 및 상기 제1 시간 간격정보를 기초로, 상기 연령 추정 모델을 이용하여 상기 사용자 단말을 이용하는 사용자의 연령을 추정하는 단계를 포함한다.
