Summary: | The present invention relates to a preparation method of an intermediate for synthesizing a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, and more specifically, to a preparation method of compounds of following formula 2 and following formula 4 using an inexpensive starting material and ligand and chelating extraction and purification technique. In the formulas, X, R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are as the same as defined in the specification. The preparation method of the present invention can secure economic feasibility and effectively reduce residual impurity by replacing expensive Cs2CO3 previously used in the preparation of the compound of formula 2 with dramatically cheaper KOH.
