Summary:An objective of the present invention is to provide a photosensitive composition which is used to form a light-blocking layer around the periphery of a lens, forms a light-blocking layer with excellent light-blocking properties by position-selectively exposing and developing a coating film formed by being applied to the lens, and can suppress a decrease in the transmittance of the lens in an unexposed area; a method for manufacturing an optical element using the photosensitive composition; and an optical element thereof. According to the present invention, the photosensitive composition used to form a light-blocking layer around the periphery of a lens comprises an alkali-soluble resin (A), a photopolymerizable monomer (B), a photopolymerization initiator (C), and a light blocking agent (D), wherein the light blocking agent (D) includes carbon black (D1) to which a treatment to introduce an acidic group is performed. [과제] 렌즈의 주연에 차광층을 형성하기 위해서 이용되고, 렌즈에 도포하여 형성한 도포막을 위치 선택적으로 노광 및 현상하는 것에 의해, 뛰어난 차광성을 가지는 차광층을 형성할 수 있고, 또한 미노광부의 렌즈의 투과율의 저하를 억제할 수 있는 감광성 조성물과, 당해 감광성 조성물을 이용하는 광학 소자의 제조 방법과, 광학 소자를 제공한다. [해결 수단] 렌즈의 주연에 차광층을 형성하기 위해서 이용되는 감광성 조성물로서, 알칼리 가용성 수지(A)와, 광 중합성 모노머(B)와, 광 중합 개시제(C)와, 차광제(D)를 포함하고, 차광제(D)가, 산성기를 도입하는 처리가 가해진 카본 블랙(D1)을 포함하는 감광성 조성물을 이용한다.
