The present invention relates to a three-wheeled electric vehicle having a power transmission device driven by a motor. More specifically, the three-wheeled electric vehicle selects and exchanges a driving method of an in-wheel motor or a chain driving method according to use environments. The present invention comprises: a frame (100); a pair of front wheels (200) and a single rear wheel (300) respectively formed on a front side and a rear side of the frame (100); a steering unit (400) having a handle (410) connected to the front wheel to control steering of the front wheel (200) and having a suspension unit (420) having a buffering function; a driving unit (500) attached to and detached from the rear side of the frame (100) and providing driving force to the rear wheel (300); and a battery unit (600) supplying power to the driving unit (500). 본 발명은 모터로 구동되는 동력전달장치가 구비된 3륜 전기 자동차에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 사용 환경에 따라 인휠모터의 구동 방식 또는 체인구동 방식을 선택하여 교체할 수 있는 3륜 전기 자동차에 관한 것이다.
