The present invention relates to a compound that inhibits Gli activity, and uses thereof in cancer treatment. According to the compound according to an aspect, the compound not only has a cancer cell-specific killing effect by inhibiting Gli, but also has an effect of suppressing cancer metastasis by inhibiting the migration and invasion of cancer cells, thereby having an effect of being able to be usefully used in a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer.
