A wheel unit for overcoming an obstacle having a chain type rotary block comprises a hub unit, a plurality of unit blocks, and a support body. The hub unit is rotated by receiving rotating force. The unit blocks are spaced from the hub unit at a predetermined interval, form an outer shape of the wheel unit, and enable adjacent unit blocks to be connected to each other. The support body connects the hub unit and the unit blocks or filled between the hub unit and the unit blocks.
