The present invention relates to an identity authentication system for use in identity authentication and a method thereof. The identity authentication system includes: an operation computer which performs identity authentication; an identity authentication approval request tool which is output into an authentication requestor terminal of an authentication requestor, who wants to receive approval of identity authentication and is connected to communicate with the operation computer, to input identity authentication request information and transmit the same to the operation computer; and an identity confirmation data providing tool which is output into at least one relevant terminal of relevant people of the authentication requestor, who is connected to communicate with the operation computer, to provide relation information with the authentication requestor, communication history, and the like to the operation computer. The operation computer requests the relevant people to confirm whether the authentication requestor is the same person who the relevant people know, determines consistency between analysis data obtained by analyzing information included in the communication history of the authentication requestor of the relevant people provided by the relevant people of the authentication requestor and data that the operation computer originally has, and, based on the determination, confirms identity of the authentication requestor who wants to receive identity authentication approval. The present invention has an effect of solving a problem of illegal use of an identity authentication tool, hacking, etc. 본 발명은 본인인증시 활용하기 위한 동일성 인증 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 본인인증을 수행하는 운영컴퓨터와, 상기 운영컴퓨터와 통신 접속된 본인인증 승인을 받고자 하는 자인 인증요청자의 인증요청자단말기에 출력되어 상기 운영컴퓨터로 본인인증 승인 요청 정보를 입력하여 전송하는 본인인증승인요청수단과, 상기 운영컴퓨터와 통신 접속된 상기 인증요청자의 관계인들의 적어도 하나의 관계인단말기에 출력되어 상기 운영컴퓨터에 상기 인증요청자와의 관계 정보 및 통신내역 등을 제공하는 동일성확인데이터제공수단을 포함하고; 상기 운영컴퓨터는 상기 관계인들에게 상기 인증요청자가 관계인들이 아는 자와 동일인인지 확인 요청을 하고, 상기 인증요청자의 관계인들이 제공한 관계인들의 상기 인증요청자와의 통신내역에 포함된 정보를 분석한 분석데이터와, 상기 운영컴퓨터가 자체 구비하고 있는 데이터와의 정합성을 판단하여 이를 기초로 본인인증 승인을 받고자 하는 인증요청자의 동일성 여부를 확인하는 것을 특징으로 하는 동일성 인증 시스템 및 그 방법이 제시된다.
