Provided is a lens actuator, which includes a lens barrel accommodating one or more lenses and a driving unit moving the lens barrel in an optical axis direction. The driving unit includes: a driving wire which has at least a part extending in an optical axis direction, and whose length changes when a voltage is applied to both ends thereof; and a driving transmission portion connected to the driving wire and moving the lens barrel in the optical axis direction according to a change in the length of the driving wire. A movement distance of the lens barrel moved by the driving transmission portion has a greater value than the length change amount of the driving wire. 하나 이상의 렌즈가 수용되는 렌즈 배럴 및 렌즈 배럴을 광축 방향으로 이동시키는 구동부를 포함하고, 구동부는 적어도 일부가 광축 방향으로 연장되어 구비되며 양측 단부에 전압이 인가되면 길이가 변화하는 구동 와이어 및 구동 와이어에 연결되며 구동 와이어의 길이 변화에 따라 렌즈 배럴을 광축 방향으로 이동시키는 구동 전달부를 포함하고, 구동 전달부에 의해 이동되는 렌즈 배럴의 이동 거리는 구동 와이어의 길이 변화량보다 더 큰 값을 가지는 렌즈 액추에이터가 제공된다.
