Provided is a large vessel having a kite which is able to secure a visibility from a bridge according to the SOLAS Treaty. The present invention relates to a large vessel with a total length of 55 meters or longer, which has n kites (n is an integer of 3 or above) installed at regular intervals along a central line passing through a monitoring position (WP) of the bridge (19) and the bow (5) on the deck (9) when viewed from a plane. All kites' height dimensions are equal to or lower than the highest height dimension of the hull structures excluding the kites. In this example, the hull structure with the highest height dimension is a radar mast (21). When viewed from the monitoring position (WP), from the n^th kite to the m+1^th (m is an integer which satisfies 2 <= m < n), the height dimensions are determined so that the front ends in a heightwise direction from the n^th kite to the m^th kite can be seen from a virtual point of the WP. In addition, the width dimensions are determined so that both end parts in a widthwise direction of one or more kites installed from the m-1^th kite towards the bow cannot exceed the virtual vision when viewing both ends of the m^th kite from the virtual point of the WP. (해결 수단) 본 발명은 갑판(9) 상에 평면에서 볼 때에 있어서 선교(19)의 감시 위치(WP)와 선수(5)를 지나는 중심선을 따라 n개(n은 3 이상의 정수)의 경범을 간격을 두고 설치한 전체 길이 55m 이상의 대형 선박을 대상으로 하고 있다. 모든 경범의 높이 치수는, 경범을 제외하는 선체 구조물 중 가장 높이 치수가 높은 것(본 예에서는 레이더 마스트(21)) 이하의 높이 치수이다. 감시 위치(WP)로부터 본 경우에, n번째의 경범으로부터 m+1번째(단, 2≤m<n의 정수)의 경범까지는 n번째의 경범으로부터 m번째의 경범까지의 높이 방향의 선단이 감시 위치의 가상 시점으로부터 모두 보이도록 높이 치수가 정해져 있다. 또한, m-1번째의 경범으로부터 선수 방향으로 설치되어 있는 1개 이상의 경범의 폭 방향의 양 단부가 감시 위치(WP)의 가상 시점으로부터 m번째의 경범의 양 단을 보았을 때의 가상 시선을 넘지 않도록 폭치수가 정해져 있다.
